Have you ever wondered about the different aspects of your personality? Or maybe you want to find out what exactly your personality is? Then I have the perfect test for you to take, but don’t panic! It’s not a real test, it’s a test all about you!
16 Personalities is an internet service that offers a test called the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). It’s based on the self-questionnaire developed by Isabel Myers and her mother Katherine Briggs back in 1917, who based it on the personality type studies of Carl Jung.
The goal of this test is to highlight the different psychological conditions within how people perceive the world and make decisions. There are 4 different categories the test focuses on – Introvert/Extrovert, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Percieving. There are a total of 16 different combinations.
Through a variety of statements, such as “At the end of a long week, a party is just what I need.” or “You often spend time exploring unrealistic yet intriguing ideas.”, you choose how much you either agree or disagree with each statement. There is a neutral option, but it’s best to avoid it as much as possible in order for an accurate answer.
After answering each question for about 12 minutes, you have an in-depth description of your personality!
It tells you a variety of amazing and valuable information! The report includes a detailed breakdown of each of the 4 parts of your personality type, the percentage of each letter you identify with, and the strengths and weaknesses that come with them.
It tells you how you relate to the world around you as well, which is a very interesting thing to read about.
It goes on to mention jobs that are the best for you, how you interact with other people and so much more! It even gives you other famous figures who have the same personality type as you.
The best part is that all this great information is free!
I’ve taken this test twice before, both times I got INFP, and I have never felt more understood! I am what’s known as a Mediator. This means I am introverted, intuitive, feeling (or emotionally persuaded), and perceptive.
So if you’re ever bored one day, take this test! You can learn so much about yourself in a short amount of time. Here’s the link to 16 Personalities. Let us know what your results are!
