This week, the Lady Colts reigned supreme once again on Monday, dominating the entire week, winning every single match they had. This brings the Lady Colts to 9-1 overall and 9-0 in conference. The girls continue the dominant season striving to win a third state championship this year. 

On Monday, the girls defeated Purnell Swett, coming out on top with a score of 9-0, including both singles and doubles matches. 

It was a big win for the girls, and almost all of the top six players ended with a score of 6-0, 6-0, walking out with both sets. All the players agreed, saying that it was a great game. 

“I focused on my shots and directed the ball where I wanted it to go in order to win. We just have to stay focused and keep moving forward,” says Fifth court player, Ansley Thomas 

Our champs played an interesting game on Wednesday, not usual for the team. playing two pro eight sets.

 This was a tough and lengthy match, but the Colts endured the tiresome match, and stayed strong to bring back a 9-0 win. “Last night went really well, we all played great and finished out strong in the double header,” says Alex Jones on sixth court.

All players are currently playing up a court as First court player Anna Piland out the team continues to stay strong and fight as they work to defend their state championship.
