It’s always a great day to be a Colt Golfer! The Lady Colts, yet again, increased their winning streak Monday, September 25th as they played at Baywood Golf Course. 

The Lady Colts had five golfers to shoot their lowest round of the season, and for the first time in a long time the Lady Colts secured the top three spots. 

The Lady Colts came in first with a team score of 278, Purnell Swett came in second with a team score of 318, Grays Creek came in third with a team score of 333, Jack Britt come in fourth with a team score of 335, and Lumberton came in fifth with a team score of 365.

“I was very excited to see the girls’ performance in this match, especially at our home course. The girls continue to improve day by day and I’m excited to see where that takes us, approaching the end of the season.” said Coach Todd Edge.

Kate Wilson was medalist with an 88, Alex Serbio was second with a 94, and Gracey Horne was third with a 96.

Gracey Horne played hard this week, and broke her personal record of a 98, and shot 96.

“It’s super important to have a clear mind going into a match, and just play to the best of your ability. We all have worked so hard and had our lowest round of the season.” said Horne.

The Lady Colts Golf team continues to dominate this season. They will have another match on October 2nd at Pinecrest.
