The Lady Colts have won seven championships in the past 8 years, and appear to be on the way to another.
The Ladies were yet again victorious this week, as they played Monday, October 2nd at Pinecrest Country Club.
The team came in first with a team score of 290; South View came in second with a team score of 306; Purnell Swett came in third with a team score of 308; Jack Britt came in fourth with a team score of 318; Grays Creek came in fifth with a team score of 324; and Lumberton came in sixth with a team score of 354.
Senior Kate Wilson was medalist of the match with a score of 92. Wilson has been medalist four out of five matches this season.
“I can expect to go to states with my team as we are still undefeated this season. I am also excited to finish out my senior year on such a positive note with the girls I have become so close with. We all have a really special bond,” said Kate Wilson.
Gracey Horne came in 4th with a 96, Alex Serbio finished in 6th with a shot of 102, Hanah Roney placed 8th with a 105, Abbey Bullard finished 10th with a 107, and Caroline Hales came in 20th with a shot of 120.
“As we are near the end of the season, I am so proud of these girls’ performance each match. We keep working harder everyday as we are approaching states and regionals, and I can see how serious and focused these girls are about it,” said Coach Todd Edge.
The Lady Colts will play next Tuesday, October 10th at Baywood Golf Course. This match is super exciting for our girls as it will be their senior night. The Ladys would appreciate it if you came out to support!
