Girls Golf had Senior night this Tuesday, and the team still remains undefeated.

The Lady Colts remained undefeated on their Senior night yesterday at Baywood Golf Course.

The Lady Colts came in first with a team score of 290; Purnell Swett came in second with a team score of 323; Grays Creek came in third with a team score of 323; Jack Britt came in fourth with a team score of 327; and Lumberton came in fifth with a team score of 366.

Senior Kate Wilson was yet again medalist of the match, shooting a 93.

“This match was really special for me because we won on our senior night. This is a match I have been looking forward to since my freshman year, and it was so memorable being able to have our senior night with the girls on the team I have grown so close with,” said Wilson.

We are so proud of all seven seniors last night. Kate Wilson, Alex Serbio, Gracey Horne, Hanah Roney, Ansley Wilkerson, Cady Woodruff, and Gracin Snow.

Wilson has been a member of the girls golf team for four years, Serbio for three years, Horne for two years, Roney for four years, Wilkerson for one year, Woodruff for one year, and Snow for one year.

Whether these seniors have been on the team for one year or even four years, we are so proud and excited for what is to come with them. This match was really memorable for them, and something they will never forget!

“This match was very memorable for not only my girls, but myself. I have watched these girls grow and their work ethic get stronger everyday. You can tell when they are playing how much fun they are having and how passionate they are about it too. We are excited to hopefully keep up our undefeated season, as we have our last conference match next week, at Gates Four Country Club.” said Coach Todd Edge.

We encourage you to come out and support our Lady Colts at their last conference match next Monday, October 16th at Gates Four Country Club.
