The Girls are back on the Fairway! The 2024 Girls Golf Season is ready to kick off their first match Tuesday September 3rd at the infamous home course of Baywood. After practicing nonstop all summer, the Lady Colts are feeling excited for the upcoming season and can’t wait to get started.

The Lady Colts wrapped up their 2023 season with a 9 hole average of 270. 1 and 56.0 points. Todd Edge being named Coach of the Year and Kate Wilson Player of the Year.

The girls were also named United 8 Athletic Conference Girls Golf All Conference Team players Kate Wilson, Alex Serbio and Gracey Horne.

This upcoming season Coach Edge has been pushing the girls to always practice with their best potential. Knowing that the class of 2024 legendary 7 seniors have graduated, Edge is counting on the upcoming freshman and sophomores to give it their all and continue their tradition of success.

Coach Edge has 2 returning players, Abbey Bullard and Caroline Hales. Along with 2 rookie seniors, Abigail Mckenzie and Clara Egan. Joining them are our incoming juniors Ana Warchal, Nadia Thompson, and AbbiKate Daughtry. Rising sophomores are Emily Harris, Saylor Drose, and Natalie Wood. Then last but not least the fighting freshman; Holli Bunce and Tillie Cooper.

“I am really proud of the progress I’ve watched us make since the start of summer. Each week I see everyone making great progress and it’s been awesome to be in an environment where we all come to work hard and push each other to be the best we can be.  Without the help of each coach who comes out to help us we definitely wouldn’t have made the progress we show today,” said Daughtry.

Let’s have a good season ladies. GO COLTS!!!
