Head Coach: Coach Brian Graham is returning as the head coach. 

2023 Record & Conference Finish: In 2023 the girls had an impressive year, winning the United 8 Conference with an impressive conference record of 14-0. 

Playoffs: When it came to playoffs, the girls team made it to the East regional final, ultimately losing to Terry Sanford. Their record for the season was 27-2. 

Top Returners: The top returners this year are Emily Harris (SG, PG),

Elisabeth Kirkland (PG, SG), Keyana Gage (PF, SF), Olivia Arnette (SG), Sydney Britt (PF, C), Jayda Bright (SF), and Lilliana Colon (PF).

Promising Newcomers: There are some promising newcomers like sophomore point and shooting guards Karamia Shields and Emily Harris, who were previously on Junior Varsity. As well as this, there are two freshmen on the team this year: Jalicia Sconiers (SG, PG) and Shanel Sutton (SF).

Coach’s Outlook on Season: “We are a young but talented team.  We are looking to improve on doing the little things consistently like boxing out, rotating correctly on defense, and communicating. Keys to our success this year: limit our turnovers, playing at a fast pace, force turnovers, and REBOUNDING the basketball.”  

Player Outlook: From Elisabeth Kirkland: “I feel like this upcoming basketball season is a chance for our young team to build together, proving that growth, grit, and teamwork can go from just good into being great! I’m looking forward to a winning season this year!”
