Player’s Outlook:

Two of the key returners from the team shared their thoughts on what we can expect from the Colts this season:

“I’m very excited for all the newcomers as many of them are showing potential. I’m ready for a great, fun senior year,” said Senior Goalkeeper Evan Smith.

“We’ve got a lot of new players with a lot of potential and I’m excited to see what they can do as they come in for their first year. I’m excited to have fun for my last season with the team,” said Senior Attack Brannon Quinton.

Coach’s Outlook:

“Cape Fear Men’s Lacrosse is anxiously awaiting the start of the 2025 season. This season we hit the field with the largest group of seniors in program history. These seniors have been with the team for several years and constitute the nucleus of the team on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field. We will welcome several new additions to the team this year and are excited to see how they will contribute to the team. The team has garnered several high level awards in the conference based on their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. Additionally, we have an early commitment of one of our seniors who was recruited to play at the college level. Our team has been working hard in the offseason to improve and prepare themselves for tough competitors both inside and outside the conference. We hope you will come to our home games this season and support your Cape Fear Colts. Come experience the fastest game on two feet. Go Colts!!”

The boys are looking forward to another great season! Tryouts will be held on February 12th.
