And your new Miss Cape Fear High School 2025 is……….Jaycie Bullard
A junior here at Cape Fear, Jaycie is involved in FFA, HOSA, and the National Technical Honor Society. In her free time, she thoroughly enjoys hunting and fishing. In her reign she plans to focus on the exceptional students here at Cape Fear. She wants to make CF a more inclusive environment for all students. Jaycie hopes to implement the Special Olympics and an integrated lunch program where EC students can eat in the same area as the rest of Cape Fear.
“I am beyond excited to be able to have this honor, I have many plans for this year,” said Bullard. “My main focus is making the special needs kids feel more welcomed at Cape Fear and have them feel like they are normal and a part of us. I want to try and get the Special Olympics at Cape Fear. I also would like to stop the bullying against those kids, every single one of them is so sweet and kind, and they need to be loved just as we are,” Jaycie proclaims as her plans for the upcoming year.
We chatted with First Runner Up Kinley West about her experience in the competition. West was extremely excited about placing, and about competing in general.
“When I won the interview award I was already stoked and when I won first runner up, I was ecstatic” Kinley exclaimed. “To me I was already proud of myself from getting up on the stage, but more proud by being named miss congeniality by my fellow contestants who were kind enough to vote for me”, she says. “Overall the experience was wonderful and I am proud to say I go to Cape Fear,” West concluded.
Second Runner Up Aubree Maynard was also enthusiastic about her experience with the Pageant. She is one of the true veterans of the Miss Cape Fear Pageant.
“I have done the pageant all 4 years and have been lucky enough to place all four years,” she said. “The Cape Fear pageant has made me more confident, developed strong relationships with other girls, and has ultimately helped me gain memories in which I will cherish forever.”
