The opening number “Back In Black” by ACDC set a high-energy tone for the rest of the evening. The judges and audience were captivated by the performers’ skill and charisma.

Following the number, we turned our attention to the incredible individuals who guided us through this exciting competition. Former Cape Fear Principal Lee Spruill was the Emcee for the night, and he kept the energy high and the evening flowing smoothly. Of course no competition is complete without a panel of expert judges with us that night we had Katie strain, Pierre Cobb and Andrea Allen, their combined expertise guaranteed a high- quality and credible assessment of the competition.

“I really liked the environment around Mr. Cape Fear; it was really supportive and everyone there was just there to have a great time. But next year, next year. I will be the next Mr. Cape Fear. I’m not coming for one trophy; I’m not coming for two trophies; I’m coming for 3,” said Serbio.
