His ability to mix pitches and maintain composure under pressure was crucial in limiting Jack Britt to just one run. This monster of a performance gave the stud pitcher a huge boost in morale for more games to come!!

“I am glad it worked out. I feel more in rhythm, feel better, less pain, I just feel better about how I am throwing,” said Logan Rayburn.

Chris Serbio, Jackson Rainey, and Caden Jeffery, three key players in the Colts, stomp out Jack Britt. These three players each had two RBI’s clutching up many runs for the sake of the team!!!

The Colts express team ball in the way they play their game.

“Despite going 1 for 3, I still put the ball in play scoring in runs having two RBI’s. I do what I can for the team, I’d rather go 0 for 3 and win then 3 for 3 and lose,” Chris stated.

“There is no pressure to drive in runs, it’s just a part of the game. I just try to do my job, help the team out and try to get runs on the board and help the team win,” Caden Jeffery mentioned.

“Feels good to drive in runs, even if I go 0-12,” said Jackson Rainey.

As the game progressed, the Colts continued to capitalize on their opportunities, with timely hitting and aggressive base running that kept the Buccaneers on their heels. This victory not only boosts the Colts’ confidence but also solidifies their position as a formidable contender in the state, especially as they gear up for their upcoming rivalry showdown with Midway.
