The JV Colts started the night with a stellar performance, blowing out Pine Forest 10-1!
Sophomore Myles Garcia scored the important final goal to give the Colts a mercy rule win in the second half!
“I was searching for that goal all game, so it felt good to be able to score the final goal to end the game!” exclaimed Garcia. “I hope I can add more to my goal tally by the end of the season.”

Our Varsity Colts took on Pine Forest later in the night. The Colts put up an exciting battle, pulling through with a 1-0 win!
Freshman Landon Edkins got his first goal of the season to put the Colts up early in the game.
“It’s a blessing to get my first goal of the year; I am just going to keep it up and hopefully get more,” said Edkins.
The Colts rocked on defense, allowing very few chances for Pine Forest, helping the Colts earn a clean sheet for the evening.

Last night, the Colts took on Pine Forest for the second time this week. This time the game was played in Colt Country!
To start off the evening the JV Colts dominated once again coming out with a 9-0 mercy rule! Freshman, Kyle Horne once again topped the goal scoring chart with 5 goals!
Team captain Isaak Fick was phenomenal on both sides of the pitch. Isaak scored twice and was a force to be reckoned with on defense, helping the JV Colts get a clean sheet.
“It was my first two goals of the season and I am going to keep it up,” stated Isaak Fick. “I think with enough practice and training our defense will be able to replicate this performance.”

Our Varsity Colts were once again ready to take on the Trojans. This game once again did not disappoint; it was a physical battle, and both of the defenses were on point! The final score came out to be a 0-0 draw.
Senior and team captain Cameron Trumbull and his defense were fantastic this week, not allowing a single goal to be scored! Cameron made some crucial tackles to keep the Trojans away from our goal.
“I’d say our defense is in pretty good shape; we allowed very few chances, and our back line can keep up this good shape,” said team captain Cameron Trumbull
The Varsity Colts will hit the road on Saturday, September 13th to take on Croatan at noon. Both teams will then travel to Wallace-Rose Hill on Tuesday, September 16th.
