This Wednesday, the Cape Fear Colts bowling team went to LaFayette Lanes to compete with Pine Forest. The girls and boys team both did an outstanding job and performed well in their sections respectively.
The girls did an amazing job winning five out of the six games against Pine Forest and ended up ranking second in the conference. The highest game was 180 points and their average per game was 130.

The boys’ highest game was 212 points with an average of 133 per game. The boys also did a fantastic job and won four out of their six games against Pine Forest and finished ranking third in the conference.
“Luke bowled a lot of strikes,” said sophomore Elijah Fisher who is on the boys bowling team.

In total, both the girls and the boys showed up and both played the best they could and competed well in all.
Next Wednesday, January 21, the Colts will be competing at B&B Lanes. Be sure to go out and show support to our team and watch them compete.
