Cape Fear High School’s Key Club is sponsoring a Toys for Tots drive this year. The drive gives new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls in need, just in time for the Holidays!

The donations greatly affect our local area, going to kids and families everywhere to make sure there are plenty of presents under the tree.

If you are looking to help out with donations for this delightful cause, there are multiple locations and events to drop off presents.

For the school’s theater production on Dec. 6th and 7th, there will be a box set up in the auditorium lobby to drop off presents. There will also be a box set up for the Dec. 9th Orchestra Concert, Dec. 10th Chorus Concert, and the Dec. 12th Band Concert.

For students, boxes are set up outside of Mrs.Hancock’s room (Rm. 120), Mr.Smith’s room (Rm. 202), and outside the new main office/check-in office.

“Every donation helps, no matter how “small”, whether it be a box of crayons, board game, pack of playing cards, or book,” the dedicated, awe-inspiring, and Vice-president of Key Club, Keirah-Lee Garry told us about the event.

The Toys for Tots drive lasts until Dec. 16th and only new, unpackaged toys will be accepted for kids from the ages of 0-18.

As mentioned previously, any donations help the cause so get in the spirit of giving and make a kids Christmas jolly this year!
