The Lady Colts have had an incredible season, making history along the way. It is now time for the Colts to continue making history; the playoffs begin tonight, as the Colts play host to the Westover Wolverines. The Lady Colts hold the top spot for the 3A classification in the United 8 Conference. This season, the Colts have had multiple win streaks, one of those lasting an astonishing 9 games! Now is the perfect time to get another streak going.

Point guard Jayda Angel is one of the top performers in Cumberland, averaging a region high 27.9 points per game. Angel also averages 5 assists per contest. 

Also leading the Colts are Kayia Starling, Teralyn Harris, and Samara Britt, averaging 9.7, 8.8. And 8.5 points per game, respectively. Starling is third in Cumberland County in 3-point field goals, swishing 45 from beyond the arc.

The Westover Lady Wolverines finished fourth in the All-American Conference with an 8-6 conference record. The Wolverines finished regular season play with an overall record of 12-12.

So far in the season, Westover girls basketball has averaged 48 points per game and allowed 51.2.

The top performer from Westover is small forward R’mani Robinson. Robinson averaged 11 points per game in the regular season. She also averaged 3.5 assists per game, and is the Wolverines top performer in steals per game with an average of 3.4.
