The Lady Colts increased their winning streak to 5 with a victory at a hard and fast Cypress Lakes golf course. The team won by 29 strokes over 2nd place Purnell Swett. 

Lexi Perez took 1st place overall with an 86, Hanah Roney finished 4th with a 103, Kate Wilson tied with Gracey Horne for 6th with a 104, Hannah Walker tied with Alex Serbio for 10th with a 110. 

Through strong determination and staying at the top of their game, the Colts plan to take their success to the next level and win overall at regionals and states. 

“These girls are hungry to keep improving and learn new things each week,” said Coach Todd Edge. 

“My goal is to break 100 because my family promised me a fancy dinner if I do so.” said Junior Hannah Roney. Spending her days on the green and her nights marching in the band drives her to be the best she can be. 

Continuing to stay on top of her game each match, Lexi Perez focuses on each put with a calming mindset. 

Perez said, “It’s all about your drive and seeing things through.”
