On Monday October 12th, the Lady Colts Golf team played at Gates Four against Jack Britt, Purnell Swett, Lumberton, and South View in the final match of the regular season. The Colts came out on top once again with a final score of 281, finishing undefeated for this year’s season!

Lexi Perez shot a personal best of 83 to finish first, Kate Wilson shot 96 to finish 3rd, Alex Serbio finished 5th with a 102, Gracey Horne shot a 104 for 8th place, Hannah Walker shot 108 for 9th place, and Hannah Roney 119 for 13th place. 

Lexi Perez was named player of the year for the United 8 conference. Lexi is also first team all conference along with Kate Wilson and Hannah Walker.

“I’m proud of finishing out this season with my amazing team and I hope the best for them in the future,” said Perez. 

The Colts are planning to continue their 3 year streak on top, next year’s season stronger than ever. The dedication and strength of these girls are unmatched. 

“My number one motivation is my mom because she continues to encourage me on the green,” said Kate Wilson. 

Kate Wilson has become better and better throughout the season and is determined to play next year also hopefully in college.

These three girls are ready to take on regionals as well as making it to states. The Colts will be at Reedy Creek golf course next week for the 3A East regional championship.
