Cape Fear Baseball Gets First Win Tuesday

Mason Hughes had a great game all around; he closed the game pitching 2.2 innings allowing 0 runs and 0 hits with 5 strikeouts. At the plate, Mason went 2-2 with a single RBI and a home run

To contribute to this win, I did my job on both sides of the ball in hitting my first home run of the season and pitching 2.2 innings of shutout baseball,” said Hughes.

This first win was clutch for Cape Fear baseball. This was a great team win and showed that this team puts in the work.
